About the Book
A bilingual (English/Spanish) book about a German Shepherd, named Sadie, who was rescued from the animal shelter. She came to us with many peculiar behaviors which lead to her nickname of Shady Sadie! Great book to read if you are considering/currently adopting a rescue pet and want to learn about the responsibilities of being a dog owner. Shady Sadie, however, isn’t her ONLY nickname! Read Sadie’s story to find out what she did to earn her other nicknames.

About the Author
Kathy grew up in Athens, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University. She moved to the Greater Cincinnati area and worked for over 30 years as a pediatric physical therapist.
She truly enjoyed working with children and babies. She collaborated with teams in schools and developed and led movement and literacy programs in preschool disability classrooms and local libraries. She absolutely loves seeing the joy on children’s faces when they are engaged and actively participating while listening to a story being read to them.
Her dream is to write children’s books that evoke that same joy. Now that Kathy is retired, she enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, Lydia and Rowan.   Â
